The attic, the basement, the garage—every parent has a box somewhere filled with toys their children have long outgrown. What parents threw away, gave to Goodwill, or stored in weathered cardboard boxes has transformed into treasure. Toys that were casually played with, loved into destruction, and left behind now command prices that would have seemed impossible when they were new.

The toys that parents wanted to get rid of are now the ones collectors desperately hunt down. Childhood toys have become the most accessible entry point to collecting for many adults.

The toys they remember, the ones that shaped their imagination, can now be worth hundreds or thousands of dollars if they happen to have survived the decades. These 28 toys represent the lines that parents boxed up, but collectors now pursue relentlessly, turning dusty attics into potential goldmines.
